Remembering my Father

My Father died suddenly yesterday morning in Czech Republic... We are still in shock, but I pray for my family and trying to find words, images to remember his life and to be thankful for the gift of his life... Here are some photo collages with photos of my Father I created as his birthday present for his 70th birtday 4 years ago....

Today I was walking by the sea in Wales and drawing in the sand, while Daniela was playing... still looking for words, looking for images... prayer on the beach... Daniela was asking me to take a photo before the tide comes tonight... So here is a photo:

And here is the photo from the airport from September 2013 when my Mum and Dad and nephews came to wave Bye to us at Brno airport.... That was the last time I saw my Dad

Some memories of my Dad:

Right now it is so difficult for me to express anything in words, but I am encouraged reading verse that my Father received for his confirmation:

John 6,35

Then Jesus declared,
“I am the bread of life.
Whoever comes to me
will never go hungry,
and whoever believes in me
will never be thirsty.

More painting

Just painting.... painting prayers, embracing questions and running to God's loving arms...

Reflection on inspiration - painting

So inspired by singing sister I started to paint more again... Paintings about the journey of King's Daugher who knows that she is loved by her Heavenly King and Father... even when people do not understand or might feel frightened, she can rest in God's loving arms, embracing questions of life and insecurities of life on this earth...

Inspiration

I felt very inspired this morning watching video and reading about this sister. Her passion and courage is so inspiring! I really admire her stubborness to go out and to reach out to people in the world rather then staying safely hidden in her convent... so much to reflect on and to pray about and pray for... Today I was reflecting on openess to receive and use gifts that God has given to us....
